[The choice of pharmaceuticals for the treatment of bronchial asthma and chronic obstructive respiratory disease].

This pharmacoepidemiological study at the regional level permitted to reveal the real strategy of medical prescriptions and the choice of medications for the treatment of bronchial asthma and chronic obstructive respiratory disease. Regional variations in the combination of preparations actually used by patients with these diseases are investigated for the first time. The main causes of non-compliance with medical prescriptions are analysed.
