Abstract: The title compound, C(13)H(11)NO(3)S, was synthesized from methyl anthranilate, triethyl-amine and 2-thio-phenoyl chloride in benzene. The mol-ecular conformation is stabilized by an intra-molecular N-H⋯O hydrogen bond. The dihedral angle between the rings is 2.74 (12)°. In the crystal, C-H⋯O inter-actions link neighbouring mol-ecules into a three-dimensional network.
