Abstract

In the current issue of Molecular Cell, Herranz et al. (2012) demonstrate that LOXL2 deaminates trimethylated histone 3 lysine 4 (H3K4me3), which uncovers a new chromatin modification and a new enzymatic mechanism with the potential to regulate additional lysine residues.<br /> (Copyright © 2012 Elsevier Inc.
