Abstract
- A practical technique is presented to deliver hippocampus avoiding prophylactic cranial irradiation for lung cancer patients, using two lateral fields. For a prescribed dose of 12×2.5 Gy, sparing of the hippocampi to 6.1 Gy was achieved with a V95% of the brain of 81.7%.<br /> (Copyright © 2011 Elsevier Ireland Ltd. All rights reserved.)
