- Ru(II)(arene) anticancer compounds with maleimide functionality were prepared to allow selective interaction with thiol-containing biomolecules and thereby enforcing the selective delivery of the compounds to the tumour.<br /> (This journal is © The Royal Society of Chemistry 2012)
