Abstract
- Spontaneous coronary artery dissection (SCAD) is a rare cause of myocardial ischemia. Multivessel SCAD is much rarer than single vessel involvement and acute coronary syndrome remains the most common clinical presentation of a patient with SCAD. It predominantly occurs in association with atherosclerosis or in the absence of atherosclerosis. We, hereby, present a case of spontaneous multivessel coronary artery dissection in a 35-year-old male patient presenting with chest pain and ventricular tachycardia following emotional stress and discuss the etiology and treatment options.<br /> (Copyright © 2011 Wiley-Liss, Inc.)
