Abstract

The incidence of neoplastic complications after solid organ transplantation is increasing tremendously probably as the consequence of long term immunosuppression. Beside usual risk factors, the oncogenic role of some viruses like Epstein-Barr virus is well established. We report a case of a primitive EBV-induced liver leiomyosarcoma after renal transplantation.<br /> (Copyright © 2010. Published by Elsevier Inc.)
