Hypoparathyroidism can occur in SLE caused by antiparathyroid antibodies.Patients with hyperparathyroidism can develop bone disease with cysts, erosions, and deformities. They can also develop pseudogout, gout, myopathies, and tendon ruptures.<br /> (Copyright © 2010 Elsevier Inc. All rights reserved.)
