Abstract
- We present a patient with superior vena cava (SVC) obstruction due to multiple intraluminal pacemaker leads. Previous attempts at balloon dilatation of the SVC and surgical angioplasty did not provide a long-term solution. A Gore-Tex (W. L. Gore & Associates, Flagstaff, AZ, USA) conduit interposed between the innominate vein and right atrial appendage has resulted in symptomatic relief at a follow-up of 6 months.<br /> (© 2010 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.)
