Abstract: Three-dimensional (3-D) radiotherapy planning is applied for the conformation therapy of a bronchial carcinoma. The treatment technique, using dynamically controlled shielding blocks, and the treatment planning procedure are described. The method has now been in clinical routine since 4 years; problems with the patient's positioning are discussed.
