Abstract
- Clubfoot is one of the most common congenital anomalies seen in newborns and children. Although the cause is unknown, strides have recently been made in uncovering the etiology causes of clubfoot. In the last decade, the treatment of clubfoot has undergone a significant change with a shift away from extensive operative intervention to a less invasive approach. Long-term residual deformity and pain from surgically corrected club feet still continues to occur and presents diagnostic and therapeutic challenges for the orthopedic surgeon.<br /> (Copyright 2010 Elsevier Inc.
