Abstract: Atretic meningoceles are infrequent congenital malformations resulting from the herniation of meninges through a skull defect. All prior reported cases have had a subcutaneous component with or without an underlying osseous defect. We report the unusual case of a completely intraosseous atretic meningocele.<br /> (2009 S.
