[Health Impact Assessment--yet another new illusion of efficacy or a truly useful tool for decision-making?].

Since 1999, the Canton of Jura has been contributing to international and national efforts towards sustainability. In this context, and under strong political support, people in this Canton have been engaging upon implementation of health impact assessment techniques. This paper describes the main lessons to be learned from this local experience.
