Abstract
- In this review, narcolepsy is described based on personal experience of the author with this disease, especially with imperative day-somnolence and cataplexy. Narcolepsy is frequently underestimated and repressed. The economical (disability) and ethical (traffic accidents) implications of the disease may be significant. Optimal treatment and changes of behaviour are important.
