Abstract
- We report detection of subgroup B respiratory syncytial virus in cerebrospinal fluid from a 4-month-old infant, using a 1-step reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction assay. The infant was diagnosed with bilateral pneumonia and had a febrile seizure. The patient recovered uneventfully after 9 days in the hospital.
