Abstract
- Breast carcinoma is no longer considered as a local disease. So, surgery and radiotherapy could be insufficient to control undetectable distant micro-metastasis. Naturally, systemic medical procedures have been extended from metastatic stages to adjuvant and neo-adjuvant settings. The double sensitivity to both hormonal and chemical agents give to clinicians a large number of putative choices. Recent discovery of membrane receptor-targeted monoclonal antibodies enriched our armentarium.
