Abstract
- Every maxillary sinusitis suspected of chronicity has to be fully investigated by CT-scan. Failure of medical treatment will confirm chronic disease and will lead to surgery. According to the authors, endoscopic middle meatotomy is the treatment of choice, possibly associated with anterior ethmoidectomy and/or inferior meatotomy.
