Abstract
- We present two cases of recurrent cavernous hemangiomas of the extremities. These conditions were initially treated unsuccessfully with surgical resection. After recurrence, the hemangiomas were treated by percutaneous transcatheter embolization. To the best of our knowledge, this is the first case report of treatment of cavernous hemangioma involving the extremities using an angiographically directed vascular embolization technique.<br /> (Copyright 2003 Wiley-Liss, Inc.)
