Abstract: The authors report the occurrence of diffuse low voltage and the loss of R-waves in the precordial leads in a standard 12-lead electrocardiogram, suggestive of an anterior wall myocardial infarction, in a patient with subcutaneous emphysema and pneumomediastinum.
