Abstract
- We describe two different manifestations of cardiac myxoma. Both have in common late diagnosis. The first patient suffered from a right sided myxoma. The histological diagnosis is unexpected. In the second case, the diagnosis of a myxoma in the left arterial cavity is made only two years after the first symptoms. We discuss epidemiology, symptoms, diagnosis, treatment and prognosis of atrial myxoma.
