Abstract

Purpose: To describe a patient with sudden onset of subconjunctival haemorrhage related to malaria.<br />Methods: A case report.<br />Results: The patient, who had a history of malaria, had bilateral subconjunctival haemorrhages. General examination showed no abnormality except malaria. All signs of conjunctival haemorrhages resolved later.<br />Conclusion: Ocular malaria should be considered in the differential diagnosis of subconjunctival haemorrhages.
