This paper presents reflections on the prospect faced by journalism about the reality of media convergence, sticking to the especially Newsgames. The literature survey addresses topics such as transmedia narrative in the press, potential of journalism on the web, understanding human cognitive process for building technologies and specific functions of journalism, which seems to be shaping up more and more in the digital realm and making it is also playful. Tools that provide the reader becomes an active participant in the unfolding of information, as are the Newsgames, meet the reality of the so called convergence culture, in which the web is increasingly a place of consumer participation.
