Lineage Tracing Mediated by Cre-Recombinase Activity.

The article discusses the research on how the Cre-loxP system can circumvent the problem of label dilution through induction of reporter genes and how it can be used to visualize cell lineages. It states that it allows to follow cell fate decision of stem/progenitor cell populations.
