Abstract

To synchronize image compression and encryption, on the basis of further research of MQ arithmetic encoder, this paper regarded the random sequence generated by Lorenz chaos system as flow key to modify context and decision which came into being in the process of bit plane coding of JPEG2000 compression algorithm. It changed the probability distribution of decision when MQ coding, which changed the output stream, and realized the image joint compression encryption in this way. It elaborated the rule of the context modification and the decision modification algorithm. The simulation results indicate that the proposed algorithm doesn't influence the compression efficiency compared with the original compression algorithm.
