Abstract

The article discusses the identification of passive surveillance and household probes to determine chikungunya cases in Puerto Rico in 2014. Topics covered include the difference of chikungunya and dengue illnesses as well as the similarities in their symptoms. Also mentioned are the symptoms of chikungunya illness such as arthralgia and fever.
