20 años de autonomías municipales en Argentina. Un análisis de los factores que han incidido en su desigual e incompleto desarrollo.

This article is part of the doctoral thesis of the author where the level of development of municipal autonomy in Argentina is analyzed from its constitutional recognition in 1994. It is a comparative study of federalism in sub-national government. The methodology is quantitative nature - qualitative, channeled through the construction of an index for subsequent application in three provinces and triangulation with numerous interviews with key informants. The results helped to identify the factors that most significantly impact on uneven and incomplete development of municipal autonomy in the different provinces. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
