Abstract
- The article focuses on the long-term effect of surgery for very young children with anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) tear, particularly those who underwent nonanastomic ACL reconstruction (ACLR) with double-stranded semitendinosus grafts. Topics discussed include the surgical technique used for participants of the study, the results of the surgery, including the treatment done to those identified with medial meniscal tears and the risks associated with children undergoing ACLR.
