EBÛ UBEYDE'NÎN MECÂZU'L-KÜR'ÂN'I VE MECÂZÎ YORÜMLARI.

In this article, we examined some evaluations on the work of Abu Ubaidah named Majaz al-Qur'an and his allegorical interpretations on some verses. Majaz al-Qur'an of Abu Ubaidah is one of the first works in this field. He played an important role in the conceptualizing of majaz. He hasn't used the term of majaz but used the terms of teshbih, tamsîl and allusion. We also exmanined his allegorical interpretations on the mutashabih verses and metaphor, allusion and ellipsis.
