Carpal tunnel syndrome is the most commonly diagnosed compression neuropathy of the upper limb. Patients may present to general practitioners, physiotherapists, hand therapists, or surgeons with a variety of symptoms. Several studies have examined the epidemiology, diagnosis, and treatment of carpal tunnel syndrome.
