Abstract

The article analyses the antitrust law under the sections 1 and 2 of the U.S. Sherman Act and Section 7 of the Clayton Act for the access of the conduct of patent assertion entities (PAE). Topics discussed include the rules made by the U.S. Federal Trade Commission (FTC) for consumer protection under the FTC Act, investigating the PAEs for the violation of the antitrust law, and the rules made for the acquisition of patents by the PAEs.
