Abstract
- The author reflects on the importance of radiotherapy for cancer treatment in India. Topics discussed include the installation of the multi-leaf collimator designed by the Bhabha Atomic Research Centre at the Advanced Centre for Treatment, Research and Education in Cancer, under the Tata Memorial Center, the 44 Bhabhatron?II cobalt?60 (Co?60) teletherapy machines named after Indian nuclear scientist, Homi J. Bhabha and the intensity modulated radiotherapy.
