Abstract
- The article discusses a study conducted to explore the use and significance of neuromuscular training in preventing anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) injury in female athletes. Topics discussed include the use of electronic journal databases of "MEDLINE," "PubMed" and "CINAHL" for articles on ACL injury; incidences of ACL injury after neuromuscular training; and compliance. The study suggests the effectiveness of neuromuscular training in preventing ACL injury in female athletes.
