Abstract

In the framework of QCD factorization we study the direct CP violation in B →p0(ω)V → π+π-V (V is a vector meson) via the p-ω mixing mechanism. We find that the CP violation can be enhanced by p--ω mixing when the masses of the π+π- pairs are in the vicinity of the co resonance. For the decay channel of B- → p0(ω)p- → π+π-p-, the maximum CP violation can reach 18%. We also discuss the possibility to observe the CP violation at the LHC. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
