Moscow's Choice.

The article discusses the 2014 Russian intervention in Ukraine. It responds to the article "Why the Ukraine Crisis is the West's Fault" by political scientist John Mearsheimer, which appeared in the September/October 2014 issue. The author critiques Mearsheimer's theory that Russia's actions were a response to the expansion of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO).
