Abstract
- The authors discuss the development of a student-initiated near-peer shadowing program for medical students and physician-assistant students at the University of Iowa Carver College of Medicine, designed to help students prepare for the transition from pre-clinical to clinical learning. It notes how participants were able to observe minor yet valuable details of clinical learning prior to entering the phase.
