Abstract
- The article presents a study aimed at shedding light on the potential involvement of the pain matrix and underlying white matter (WM) microstructural alterations in episodic cluster headaches (CHs). Topics discussed include the WM changes between in-bout and out-of-bout periods, the anatomical connections between brain areas with WM changes and the hypothalamus, and the correlations between WM changes and clinical variables.
