Abstract
- The article looks at a study that investigates symmetry breaking of the magnetic vortex state in nanoscopic ferromagnetic elements before annihilation. Topics discussed include properties of solitons undergoing structural breakdown, destabilization of the soliton through Zeeman and demagnetization interaction, and identification of the core polarity through the asymmetric states of elements.
