Abstract
- The article presents a study that investigates the referral rate, prevalence and etiology of neonatal hearing loss in China. It describes the method of the study that observes 11,894 infants who were screened with a two-stage transient evoked otoacoustic emission testing. It also mentions the result of the study which suggests that bilateral referrals were more likely to suffer greater degrees of hearing loss than unilateral referrals.
