Abstract

The article explores the participation of women in the chemical industry since 1914. It highlights employment discrimination because of marriage and health risks for women chemists due to chemical exposure such as lip and mouth cancers. Among these women include Marie Curie, Stephanie Kwolek, and Ellen Kullman.
