Abstract
- The article explores the empowering nature of image in politics. It discusses the image of the U.S. President Barack Obama during 2008 U.S. presidential campaign as analyzed by Philosopher Susan Buck-Morss in his essay "Obama and the Image." It also analyzes the effect of iconography at work in third wave feminism.
