Abstract: The article discusses the Low-energy dipole strength in Tin (Sn). Topics discussed include studying the neutron separation energies at the superconducting Darmstadt electron linear accelerator, observing the concentration of dipole excitations in nuclei, and electric pygmy dipole resonance (PDR) in nuclei.
