Abstract

The article discusses research which was conducted to investigate and compare the internal and external training loads during basketball training. Researchers evaluated eight male semiprofessional players. They found that significant relationships were found between internal and external training and that internal training load models measured different constructs of the training process than the accelerometer training load model in basketball settings. They concluded that coaches should use both types of training.
