Applying New Strategies for the National Adaptation, Updating, and Dissemination of Trustworthy Guidelines.

The article discusses a study on the use of new strategies for implementing changes in updating, disseminating and adapting the Antithrombotic Therapy and the Prevention of Thrombosis, 9th Edition (AT9). A structured adaptation and updating process was completed by a panel of 46 Norweigian experts for rewriting recommendations in an electronic format. Results showed the restructuring of 333 recommendations into 249 multilayered format along with information and 29 best practices.
