Abstract
- The article discusses the use of autologous chondrocyte implantation (ACI) in clinical practice to restore hyaline cartilage. It highlights the contemporary regenerative procedures for autologous chondrocyte graft implantation of adjacent chondral tissue. It notes that the rehabilitative period after ACI surgery varies on the physical activity of the patients to protect the ACI site and promote healing.
