Abstract

The article focuses on the collection of interstellar dust (ISD) particles by the Stardust Interstellar Preliminary Examination (ISPE) spacecraft. Topics include the composition of ISD, in situ dust measurement and spectroscopy, and research on the interplanetary origin of ISD. Information is provided on ISD modelling and the crystallinity of silicates.
