Abstract

The article describes the case of a 9-year-old Korean girl diagnosed with segmented heterochromia in a scalp hair which is a hair condition caused by alternating eumelanin and pheomelanin. Topics discussed include the results of several tests performed on the patient including Wood's lamp, laboratory and transmission electron microscope analysis and segmented heterochromia as a rare pigmentary disorder.
