Abstract
- A literary criticism is presented of the books "Reflections on the Revolution in France," by Edmund Burke and "Things as They Are; or, the Adventures of Caleb Williams," by William Godwin. Particular focus is given the theme of the political aspects of honor and chivalry within the aforementioned books, including in regard to dueling.
