Abstract: The article presents research which focused on the use of acromioplasty in the arthroscopic repair of full-thickness rotator cuff injuries. Topics covered include the popularity of this medical technique as well as the debate concerning its effectiveness on athletes. Also mentioned is the participation of 114 patients in the study.
