Abstract

Chapter 4 of the book "Monographs of the Society for Research in Child Development" is presented. It provides the largest sample investigation of the stability of attachment starting with the first 3 years of life to late adolescence to quantify precisely the stability of attachment security during said period. It also offers an analyses examining the stability of attachment measured both categorically and dimensionally and the measurement of mother-child attachment during the infancy period.
