Family planning and the post-2015 development agenda

The authors reflect on family planning and its relationship with the United Nations eight Millennium Development Goals. They suggest that research has confirmed that family planning has an impact on global development goals which will remain after the year 2015. They argue that awareness of the benefits of family planning must be raised among global decision makers and development planners and that investments need to be made into research on contraceptive technology and service delivery.
